Our main character was inspired by a young, third generation farmer who stepped up to take over their family farm to keep it in the family.

The backbone of our film was inspired by the story of a young, third generation female farmer who returned to her family pig farm when she heard about the plans to put the farm up for sale. Though she struggled as a young farmer, she overcame many barriers that come with generational farming, but never lost hope and continued to champion sustainable practices.
